Rangy very masculine 2 ½ yo. quality dog balancing well size and scope with type. Stands proud. Good male head, muscular, well set neck. Well made forequarters Good length of forearm. Good pasterns and feet. Muscular arched loin and broad correctly sloping croup. Might prefer slightly more length hip to hock. Typical, sound movement. RCC
2 - GREYFLAX DIAMOND JOE AT JAMALISON (MR G J & MRS J A GRIMSHAW)
This 2yo pushed winner hard. Super outline. Lovely type. Good bone. Preferred him for hindquarters and overall scope behind but not so tidy coming and going. Typical in profile movement. Very good coat and condition.

Open - Dog (Entries: 9 Abs: 1)
A very good class of quality exhibits. Lots of super profile movement but many let down by very their untidy gait coming and going
1 - CH KILBOURNE LLOYD (MR M J & MRS G M PEACH)
Quality, mature 3yo. dog of pleasing outline and proportions. Soundly made. Good masculine head. Correct, well set neck. Soundly made front and balanced angulation. Good leg length. Very positive front movement, typical in profile so very worthy CC winner but lost his enthusiasm in the challenge for BOB.
2 - FR CH ANTONIUS VERTRAGUS NARCISSE-ET-CUPIDON (MR ANTUNES)
Longer cast 2½yo. dog with shorter, dark harsh coat. In super hard condition and very eye-catching. Liked his head and neck, the strength and power in his hindquarters, bone & feet and pleasing tail very well carried. Would like a little more from hip to hock. Moved very well.
3 - COTHERSTONE FLINT AND STEEL (MS A & MR J MORTON & MORGAN)
Very shapely 2½yo. dog of lovely type. I liked his head, neck, depth and infill. Nice bone, good feet. Broad sweeping quarters with super tail, set and carriage. Good width of thigh. Not quite the leg length of the winner

Shapely, typical, 10 mo. bitch with feminine head, soft expression, tidy ears and good pigment. Lovely outline for age with balanced angulation, muscular frame and well made muscular rear. Short pasterns, tidy feet. Occasional lovely typical profile movement when settled. Straight behind but need to mature in front movement.
2 - SEATONVALLEY REDCHERYGIRL AT STEELWILL (MISS A MURRAY)
Not quite the settled outline of 1. But can make much of herself when stands at ease. Good ribbing, loin and hindquarter development. Good length from hip to hock. Another moving out well only when settled
Junior - Bitch (Entries: 3 Abs: 0)
1 - FINE ART VON DER OELMUHLE AT KILBOURNE (MR M J & MRS G M PEACH)
Very well developed for a 16mo. bitch with plenty of bone and substance. Pleasing head, with dark eye and good ear. Well set muscular neck. Well ribbed and muscular loin but needs to settle a little in topline as she matures. Good feet and pasterns. Mature in movement
2 - FLAXSIDE AGAINST ALL ODDS (MRS S NUTTALL)
One month younger, shapely and much slower maturing with the frame and proportions to promise development. More settled in topline. Muscular loin. Good length in body, leg and hip to hock. Feminine throughout. Moves out well once settled
3 - ALBAGREY LOCH MAREE AT SILVERTHYME (MS V A & MRS M M LINDSAY)
Another slower to develop and late to mature as we should expect in this breed. Still light framed and leggy. Pleasing expression, super ears. Liked her ribbing, tidy feet, broad sweeping hindquarters and good length from hip to hock.
Post Graduate - Bitch (Entries: 12 Abs: 3)
1 - GREYFLAX RUBY AT JAMALISON (MR G J & MRS J A GRIMSHAW)
My notes on this bitch begin with the words “easy winner”. Beautifully presented and handled, she shone today, standing and on the move. Lovely type, shapely outline, good bone and substance. She has a feminine head, dark pigment and good furnishings. Her movement, typical in profile, was as was rare, very positive up and back. I was pleased to award her CC & BOB for her performance in the breed ring; enjoyed further that she went still better in the group making the final cut.
2 - KENAITEEN SEATONS ANGEL AT STEELWILL (MISS A MURRAY)
Whilst not quite having the front nor the finish and furnishings of 1., this honest, 2yo. bitch is well made and a sound mover when she gets going. With more ring experience for dog and handler and practice in presentation she could have a promising future. I liked her outline, proportions, balance and overall soundness of construction.
3 - KALEGINY MAGNOLIA STEEL (MISS L & MRS K ABBOTT & CONSTANTINE)
Another quality bitch with lovely type. Not the maturity of finish of 1. or the substance and scope of 2. Feminine typical head, lovely expression, neat high ears. Good length. Wide muscular hindquarters. Broad hocks. Balanced in angulation. Quality movement but slightly lacking enthusiasm
Limit - Bitch (Entries: 10 Abs: 4)

Another nice quality bitch of very pleasing outline but not the forehand construction of 1. Good topline, loin, hindquarters and muscle development. Pleasing typical profile movement if initially slightly reluctant.
3 - ORMANSTAR FAST CAT BETTY (MRS S J TAYLOR)
Overall a soundly made bitch of good construction but not the balance of 1. And 2.
Open - Bitch (Entries: 7 Abs: 2)
1 - PACKWAY LITTLE LOXLEY (MS R V & MR C J LUCAS & DARGONNE)
Critiques so often praise the large or dark exhibit. This lighter grey 4 yo. girl is well over standard minimum height, has good balance in body and a very typical outline. Whilst I would like a shade longer forearm, she has a lovely, feminine head and expression, well made forequarters and matching rear. Good in ribbing, topline and underline she carried her outline on the move with a light easy gait that does not disappoint coming and going. Super muscular condition.
2 - FR CH ANTONIUS VERTRAGUS NYMPHE-ET-SATYRE JWW 2018 (MR ANTUNES)
Larger, dark, shorter coated 2yo. rangy bitch. Good head well set muscular arched neck. Balanced front and rear. Broad powerful sloping croup. Super tail and set. Excellent movement across and back and in profile. Pushed winner hard.
3 - CH BLIXTEN STAR TO KILBOURNE (IMP FIN) (MR M J & MRS G M PEACH)
A real quality bitch at 4 ½ yo. not shown at her best today. Good type, construction and balanced outline. Sound in movement but too soft and lacking the poise of which she is capable.
